The PaintOps Story

PaintOps didn’t begin as a software company.

It began with a paint brush.

Before PaintOps, my career was in technology, building software and solving problems. Eventually that path led to the painting industry, where it quickly became clear that the hardest part of the job wasn’t applying paint. It was running the business.

Every day meant writing estimates, scheduling crews, answering customer questions, tracking materials, collecting payments, and trying to figure out whether a job had actually made a profit. Most of it happened across spreadsheets, notebooks, text messages, and software that wasn’t built for painting contractors.

There had to be a better way.

Bringing Two Worlds Together

Working in both technology and the painting industry provided a unique perspective. On one hand, I understood how good software should work. On the other, I knew what painting contractors actually needed because I’d lived it.

Instead of building another complicated CRM packed with features most people never use, I set out to create software that solves the everyday problems painting businesses face. PaintOps was built by someone who’s been in those shoes.

Why WordPress?

One of the biggest frustrations with modern software is that it often locks your business into someone else’s platform. I wanted PaintOps to be different.

That’s why PaintOps runs on your own WordPress website. You own your website, your customer data, and your hosting. If you ever decide to move your site, your business moves with you.

Your business stays yours.

Built Around Real Jobs

Every feature in PaintOps exists because it solves a real problem. Whether it’s creating professional estimates, scheduling crews, tracking payments, monitoring job profitability, or keeping customer information organized, the goal is always the same: make running a painting business simpler.

Even the AI tools weren’t added because AI is the latest trend. They’re there because they save time on repetitive tasks, giving contractors more time to focus on customers and growing their businesses.

If a feature doesn’t make life easier for painters, it doesn’t belong in PaintOps.

Always Improving

PaintOps continues to evolve through feedback from contractors who use it every day.

New features aren’t added because they’re trendy. They’re added because they solve real challenges for painting businesses.

I’m not trying to build the biggest contractor software platform.

I’m trying to build the most useful one.

Thanks for Visiting

Whether you’re a solo painter just getting started or managing multiple crews, thank you for taking the time to learn about PaintOps.

This software exists because of the challenges I experienced in the field, and I hope it helps you spend less time managing paperwork and more time doing what you do best.

Thanks for being part of the journey.
