PaintOps is operated by Coastal Standard FL, LLC, doing business as PaintOps. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through paintoperations.com, how we use it, and how the PaintOps plugin handles data.


Your Business Data Stays on Your Website

PaintOps is self-hosted software that runs on your own WordPress website.

When you use PaintOps to manage customers, estimates, jobs, schedules, photos, invoices, or financial information, that data is stored in your own WordPress database on your own hosting account.

We do not receive, host, or have access to this information unless you intentionally provide it to us, such as when requesting technical support.

If you use PaintOps to collect or manage personal information about your own customers, you are the data controller for that information and are responsible for complying with applicable privacy laws.


Information We Collect

We may collect the following information through our website and services:

  • Information you voluntarily provide, such as your name, email address, company name, and messages you send us.
  • Licensing and purchase information when you purchase PaintOps Pro. Payments are processed by Freemius and/or its payment providers. We receive limited order, license, and account information but never receive your full payment card details.
  • Technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and diagnostic information used to operate and improve our website.
  • Cookie and analytics information, including data collected through Google Analytics.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries and provide customer support.

OpenAI

When you use an AI feature, the information required for that feature, such as uploaded images or selected estimate text, is sent to OpenAI to generate a response.

PaintOps does not control or process this information on your behalf.

However, no method of transmitting information over the Internet or storing electronic data is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
